2nd Opinion?

When To Look For 2nd Opinion

The primary reason someone looks for a second opinion is when the diagnosis is not clear, treatment options seem complicated to the patient, greater than normal risk is involved, or if the patient is not satisfied by the doctor’s communication.

Here are a few reasons why would you need to have a second opinion in regards to your PMS

  1. When the doctor doesn't take your concerns seriously.

  2. Ignores sign and symptoms of PMS as normal for periods

  3. If you feel your care is improper or symptoms are not being addressed properly

  4. Not seeing an improvement after 3-4 cycles of treatment

  5. If pharmacological treatment options like SSRIs or COCs are recommended by the doctor.
