    1) Pap smear using liquid-based cytology

  2) HPV Test

  • All other ages: See When to do table

• Minimum testing

  • Only if cost is a factor for you, then the minimum testing you must get done: Pap smear using conventional method.

  This minimum testing should cost - Rs 1000 or under.

In Bengaluru

• Using conventional testing - Rs 500-1000

The cells are collected on a microscope slide

• Using liquid-based cytology (LBC) - Rs 1000-3000

The cells are collected in a specialised fluid. This are more accurate and the size of sample needed is much lesser than the conventional method. Hence, the preferred testing for Pap Smear.
